Dr. Judith Goldstein delivers opening remarks at the Fourth Annual Humanity in Action International Conference at the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, Poland, on June 27, 2013.  Dr. Goldstein is the founder and Executive Director of Humanity in Action.
 In her remarks, she references Jan Karski (Polish resistance fighter and professor of international relations at Georgetown University)  and Stefan Zweig (novelist, dramatist and biographer) to illuminate the present challenges facing Poland.

Dr. Dariusz Stola delivers the opening keynote at the
 Fourth Annual Humanity in Action International Conference in Warsaw on June 27th 2013 in which he addresses the transitions and challenges faced by Poland during the interwar period.  

Dr. Stola is the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at Collegium Civitas, a Research Fellow at Institute for Political Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences and a member of the Programming Board of Humanity in Action Poland.
