In this podcast episode, Fellows Anna Wiatrowska, Danielle Miles-Langaigne, Meredith Gudesblatt, and Nikolina Sladojević interviewed people in Atlanta, Georgia about the misconceptions people have of the US South as well as those that Southerners have of Atlanta. The Fellows also share their own learnings and thoughts on the South and from the Fellowship in the podcast, as well as in a written reflection.

NAACP President Cornell Brooks delivers the opening keynote at the 2016 Humanity in Action New York Conference. Speaking on racial justice, voting rights and political discourse in the 2016 election, Brooks calls upon the Humanity in Action community to continue actively engaging with issues of democracy and diversity.
